Science 6 Engineering Challenge - Ms. Rhodes' Class

The Engineers-in-Training in Ms. Brianna Rhodes' Science 6 class were set a challenge. They were to use the Engineering Design Process to create a model car that traveled the furthest down a 30^o ramp. They were given a list of criteria and constraints, created and tested the model, choosing one variable to adjust after each test. Based on their testing data, they made a final design choice.

Congratulations goes to T.F. and C.S.!  Their models traveled the furthest--103 inches!

C.S. was absent on the day the trophy was awarded.  He received his trophy the following class period.
