A group of AVID students from Quantico Middle High School, led by Dr. Tracee Fisher and Mrs. Carol Crews, immersed themselves in authentic college experiences during visits to the U.S. Naval Academy on Nov. 8 and Georgetown University on Nov. 13, aiming to reinforce academic strategies and inspire excellence.

Sixth grade social studies students at Quantico Middle High School recently traveled back thousands of years—without ever leaving the classroom. As part of a hands-on lesson on the Paleolithic era, teacher Sheva Wilkins led students through an immersive activity that brought early human culture to life.

The QMHS counseling/ school psychology departments will be working to teach students about mental health and how to seek help if they are worried about themselves or a friend. We are using a program called SOS Signs of Suicide during the weeks of September 15ft' and September 22nd.

Quantico Middle High School transformed its classroom into a courtroom, hosting a mock trial that immersed students in the legal world. Guided by teacher Theresa Martin, the event, part of a Street Law lesson, saw students step into roles as prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, witnesses, and defendants, tackling a fictional first-degree murder case.

Custodian Larry Baylor has been our beloved QMHS custodian since 2006. Prior to serving our school, he served the US Army. Mr. Larry grew up in King George county, where he still makes his home.
